Ms. Nungo is our Senior Partner and the Head of the Litigation and Alternative Dispute Resolution Department. She is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya with over 16 years of post- admission experience.
She holds a Master of Laws Degree (University of South Wales) and Bachelor of Laws Degree (Moi University). She also holds a postgraduate Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law. In addition, she has attended various postgraduate trainings and acquired certification in Certified Public Secretary (KASNEB). She has provided legal advice in dispute avoidance and construction claims; the strategic management of conflicts; mediation and arbitration amongst others.
She is a certified professional mediator (Mediation Training Institute) duly accredited by the Mediation Accreditation Committee of the Kenyan Judiciary (MAC). She is also an Arbitrator awaiting peer review to become a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators of the UK and Kenya Chapters. Ms. Nungo has handled complex matters that cut across various legal disciplines including aviation, banking and finance, competition and consumer protection, constitutional and administrative law, construction law, employment and labour law, family law, solvency, insurance, intellectual property law, medical negligence, public procurement, environmental and natural resources law, media law and defamation.
Outside the firm, Ms. Nungo serves the Kenyan Judiciary as the Chairperson of the Political Parties Disputes Tribunal (PPDT), a quasi-judicial body established under the Political Parties Act.
